Yes, Alhamdulilah. Tahir Browser is completely free. Our goal is to help as many Muslims as possible browse the web according to Islamic standards.
Tahir is built by a small team of Muslim developers who want to create an Islamic browsing experience for the ummah. Our team has experienced engineers and we're passionate about using our skills to benefit the Muslim community.
We offer two levels of protection: 1) General blur - all images are automatically blurred and images can be unblurred as needed, 2) AI detection - our machine learning model analyzes each image to see if it contains the opposite gender and blurs only those images, about ~70% accurate. You can switch between blur modes as needed.
We have a database of over 100,000+ websites containing adult content, gambling, alcohol-related material, adware or malware that are automatically blocked.
Your privacy and security is an amanah. We do not store/save/track your browsing history or personal data at all. We have no idea who you are when you use Tahir Browser. We only collect anonymous usage data to help us improve the browser. All image processing happens locally on your device. We also block many third-party trackers by default to protect your privacy.
